Club Training

We hold several sessions during the week for all to attend and participate.  Our Head Coach has designed a program of on and off the water training to cater for all fitness levels.

Our main training location is situated behind the Aquatic Centre on the ramp facing the Broadwater.  We also have a second training location with Gold Coast City Council approved allocation of training days and times at the Coomera Lake.  On occasion we use both locations depending on the training requirements.  Our training schedule is announced to our club members each week outlining the training details including; days, times, training location and special requirements.

We encourage members to participate in off the water training and bring their footwear, clothing and towel, cap and water bottle for these sessions.

If you would like to come and try outrigger paddling or you are visiting from out of town, please call our Head Coach – Leigh on 0429 093 662 for more information as the weekly training schedule does change throughout the year by season.

All paddlers are asked to arrive at least 20 mins prior to the start to get canoes and equipment ready for the sessions as they start on time.  This will avoid disappointment.  If you are running late please contact our Head Coach – Leigh on 0429 093 662 to make suitable arrangements.
